Sarah Roemer is an American actress and model who was born on August 28, 1984 in San Diego, California, USA to the name Sarah Christine Roemer.

Sarah's modeling career began at the age of 16 when she was discovered at a local 7-11. In 2006 she hit the big screen running with a string of successful movies since. Her breakout role was in The Grudge 2 as Lacey and she followed it up with another great showing in Disturbia which also starred Shia LaBeouf and Carrie-Anne Moss. Currently Sarah is playing Leila Buchanan in NBC's highly anticipated new television series The Event.
