Blake Lively is an American actress and model who was born on August 25, 1987 in Tarzana, California, USA to the name Blake Christina Lively.

Blake Lively's acting career began at the age of 11 when she appeared in the 1998 movie Sandman. It wasn't until nearly 7 years later when she co-stared as Bridget Vreeland in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants with fellow actresses Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn and America Ferrera. Lively went on to work in other movies including Accepted, Simon Says, Elvis and Anabelle, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, New York, I Love You, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee and most recently The Town and Green Lantern. But it was Blake's television role as Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl that helped make her a household name.
