Ashley Tisdale is an American actress, singer and song writer who was born on July 2nd 1985 in West Deal, New Jersey, USA to the name Ashley Michelle Tisdale. Ashley became a star from her role as Maddie Fitzpatrick in Disney's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Ashley's star began to skyrocket from the High School Musical hit series in which she played Sharpay Evans. High School Musical helped launch her music career and got her in the history books when in February 2006 two of her songs debuted simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100. She is the first female artist to accomplish that feat, the songs were "Bop to the Top" and "What I've Been Looking For".

Ashley Tisdale has had several television roles including parts in Hannah Montana, Once and Again, Beverly Hills 90210, 7th Heaven, The Hughleys, Boston Public, Charmed, Still Standing, Smart Guy, Bette and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Ashley's new television series is Hellcats with Aly Michalka. Ashely has several film credits including Donnie Darko, The Mayor of Oyster Bay, the High School Musical series, Bring It On: In It To Win It, Picture this, Aliens in the Attic and voice roles in A Bug's Life, Whisper of the Heart, and Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension in Fabulous 2D. Ashley has released the albums Headstrong (2007) and Guilty Pleasure (2009).
