Alyson Michalka is an American actress, singer, songwriter and musician who was born on March 25, 1989 in Torrance, California, USA to the name Alyson Renae Michalka.

Aly Michalka has been honing her acting skills since the age of five when she began working in small stage productions in the Seattle and California areas. The productions also included musicals such as Jailhouse Rock and A Time to Remember. Alyson is one of those Disney wonder girls who's career really started to take off when she got the starring role as Allyson Miller in Disney's made for tv movie, "Now You See It...". In 2005 she showed off her musical prowess in several concerts and parades and she appeared in Disney 411 a few times. Since then Aly has made a name for herself as Keeley Teslow from the series Phil of the Future and more recently as Marti in the new CW series Hellcats which also stars Ashley Tisdale. Aly can also be seen in the movies Cow Belles, Super Sweet 16: The Movie, Bandslam and Easy A. In 2004 Aly and her sister Amanda formed the musical group Aly & AJ now 78violet. They have released three albums, Into the Rush (2005), Acoustic Hearts of Winter (2006) and Insomniatic (2007).
